In 1961, a young girl named Aoi Sora lives along the historic Tokaido road in Japan. She dreams of adventure and a life beyond the familiar sights of the highway, where travelers and merchants pass daily. Aoi's curiosity about the world outside her small village grows as she observes the comings and goings along the road.
When a mysterious traveler arrives with tales of distant places, Aoi becomes determined to follow her own path. She must decide whether to stay in the safety of her home or venture into the unknown, facing the challenges and wonders that the Tokaido holds for her.
