In 1987, a young Japanese traveler named Yuki embarks on a journey along the ancient Silk Road, retracing the steps of the famous Swedish explorer Sven Hedin. Armed with Hedin's personal notebook, Yuki seeks to uncover the mysteries and stories hidden in the vast deserts and mountains of Central Asia.
As Yuki travels through remote villages and historical sites, he encounters a diverse cast of characters, each with their own tales tied to the Silk Road's rich history. From the ruins of Sogdiana to the valleys of Yaghnob, and the sands of Uyghur, Yuki's adventure becomes a quest for understanding the cultural and human connections that have shaped this legendary trade route.
