In a remote mountain village, a young boy named Masaru lives with his grandmother. Their quiet life is disrupted when a mysterious girl named Kaya appears, claiming to be a messenger from the gods. She insists that Masaru must undergo a sacred ritual to become a vessel for a deity, a fate he never asked for.
As Masaru resists, strange events begin to plague the village, and he discovers that his own family history is tied to an ancient pact with the gods. Kaya is relentless, and the ritual seems inevitable, forcing Masaru to confront the terrifying truth behind the legends of the mountain.
