Ladybirds' Requiem

Eiko, a young girl, accidentally kills two ladybirds. This seemingly small incident triggers a powerful wave of guilt that begins to distort her perception of reality.
Haunted by her actions, Eiko starts seeing the buttons on her blouse as ladybirds. Her guilt grows into a profound fear of the existence of countless versions of herself in other places. To cope with this overwhelming anxiety, she obsessively sews hundreds of buttons into the inside of her skirt, trapped in a cycle of remorse and illusion.
