In a remote village plagued by an endless drought, the young boy Taro watches as the land cracks and the riverbeds turn to dust. The villagers grow weak, and hope fades with each passing day. Determined to find a solution, Taro ventures beyond the familiar hills, carrying only a small bag and the memory of his mother's tears.
Along his journey, Taro encounters a wise old man who speaks of a legendary water seed hidden atop a treacherous mountain. This seed, when planted, can summon rain and restore life to the parched earth. To reach it, Taro must cross a desert of shifting sands, outwit a cunning fox spirit, and climb a cliff guarded by howling winds. Each trial tests his courage and compassion, forcing him to rely on the kindness of strangers and the strength of his own heart.
As Taro draws closer to his goal, he discovers that the water seed is not merely a physical object but a symbol of the bond between humans and nature. The journey transforms him, teaching him that true salvation comes not from magic alone, but from the resilience and unity of a community willing to fight for its future.
