Maki, a rough-around-the-edges guy, is invited out once a month by his childhood friend, the elegant businessman Sugimoto Shinji. Although Maki feels out of place at the fancy restaurants Shinji chooses, he always goes along. He knows Shinji has harbored a crush on him for a long time, and despite considering himself straight, Maki has recently found himself getting annoyed whenever Shinji talks about his boyfriends.
As their monthly dinners continue, the unspoken tension between them grows, forcing Maki to confront his own feelings and the nature of their long-standing friendship.
