とある空言、ボクの秘密
Shouta is a high school student with a unique ability: he can see and hear the "Paradox," the invisible personification of a person's true feelings and thoughts that accompanies everyone. Each Paradox reflects its owner's inner state, but they are normally hidden from view.
When Shouta encounters people whose Paradox takes unsettling forms—such as a figure wearing an eerie mask, one that weakly calls for help, or one that has grown to an immense height—he realizes something is deeply wrong. Even more puzzling is the discovery that some individuals have not just one, but three Paradoxes at the same time.
With the help of his own Paradox, Shouta tries to uncover the meaning behind these strange manifestations. However, the answers he finds are not always pleasant, forcing him to confront uncomfortable truths about the people around him.
