Three years ago, a village was destroyed by an evil Smarg—a magical creature in the form of a dragon. The only survivors, sisters Chloe and Iria, fled to a nearby village. Chloe, the younger sister, is mute but kind and hardworking, beloved by everyone. Iria, the older sister, is disruptive, rude, and cruel, especially toward the loyal Chloe.
As the sisters struggle to rebuild their lives, a mystery lingers: how did two young girls escape such a powerful creature? Could one of them have made a pact with the Smarg?
