High school student Hikaru has a secret: she uses makeup to hide her true self. She believes her natural appearance is plain and unremarkable, so she relies on cosmetics to feel confident and accepted by her classmates. One day, her classmate and popular boy, Kaito, accidentally sees her without makeup, revealing her bare face.
Instead of mocking her, Kaito admits he finds her natural look beautiful. Hikaru is shocked and confused, unable to believe his words. As Kaito persistently tries to get closer to her, Hikaru struggles to trust his intentions and overcome her insecurities.
