Researcher Takaoka has always been smooth with the ladies, but he can't seem to find a lasting relationship. His mother, eager to see him married, sends him to a marriage counselor. There, he meets Yoshizawa, a handsome and dedicated matchmaker who vows to find Takaoka the perfect partner.
As Yoshizawa works to pair Takaoka with someone, the two men find themselves drawn to each other. Yoshizawa begins to question his own feelings and the strength of his love for another man, especially after dealing with too many troubled relationships. A twist of fate brings these two lovelorn men together, but their growing connection challenges the boundaries of their professional arrangement.
