Recently divorced Asou Katsumi is picked up in a bar by Nagao Daisuke, a younger man. Katsumi has no idea what he's in for as their unexpected encounter sparks a complicated relationship.
As Katsumi and Daisuke navigate their growing connection, they must confront their own insecurities and the challenges of a relationship with a significant age gap. Meanwhile, a side story follows Daisuke's friend Kenji, who is in love with Kouichi, the older owner of the nightclub where he works. Kenji confesses his feelings but is turned down, though he is not fired. He continues to tend bar while nursing his unrequited love, wondering if there is any chance for something more.
