Tanaka Hajime and Harada were the leaders of the Yanase yakuza group. After a violent conflict with the rival Kawaguchi group, both were believed dead—Hajime was supposedly killed and buried alive. In reality, Harada saved him, but the trauma left Hajime with complete memory loss.

Now, Hajime remembers nothing of his past life as a yakuza leader. As he struggles to understand who he is, Harada tells him that they were lovers. With no memories to confirm or deny this, Hajime must question whether their bond is real or a lie.
