Choucho no Kiss

Mari feels isolated both at home and at school. Her mother nags constantly, her father is an alcoholic, and her older sister mocks her. The boy she is seeing only thinks of lewd things, forcing her to distance herself from him. One summer, she starts noticing a solitary boy in her class named Ozaki.

As Mari observes Ozaki from afar, she becomes drawn to his quiet, lonely presence. But her own troubled relationships and the weight of her family life make it difficult to reach out. A fragile connection begins to form between two people who are each trapped in their own solitude.
