Since elementary school, the calm and timid Takuya Nonosaki has kept his feelings hidden for his boisterous friend, Kazu Kuwabara. Although Kuwabara often acts rashly, his honest smile is something Nonosaki cherishes. Nonosaki never considers confessing, believing there is no reason to do so.
One day, while causing chaos in their classroom with two female classmates, a broken fluorescent bulb electrocutes them all. The result is an unimaginable scenario: the boys and girls have switched bodies. As each person explores their new situation, Nonosaki's long-suppressed dreams might finally see the light of day.
