Shin's Tricycle

Shin-chan is a three-year-old boy who loves riding his tricycle. He lives with his family in Hiroshima during World War II. One day, while playing outside, the atomic bomb is dropped on the city. Shin-chan is caught in the blast while on his tricycle and suffers severe burns.

He dies that same night. His burnt tricycle is later recovered and displayed at a war museum as a symbol of the tragedy of war. The story is based on real events and focuses on the innocent life cut short by the bombing.
