Bannertail: The Story of Gray Squirrel

A young squirrel is captured by a human shortly after birth and brought to a farm. The human attempts to give the squirrel to the family's pet cat, but the cat takes pity on the tiny creature and adopts it as her own child, naming him Banner. Banner and his feline mother live happily together on the farm.

Their peaceful life is shattered when a devastating fire destroys the farm. In the chaos, Banner becomes separated from his mother and must now navigate the wilderness alone. He must learn to survive in the forest, find food, and avoid predators while searching for a new home and perhaps a way to reunite with the only family he has ever known.
