Kogoro Mouri, the famous detective, finds himself in the middle of a mysterious case on New Year's Day. As he tries to enjoy the holiday, a series of strange events unfold around him, drawing him into a web of intrigue and deception. With his sharp instincts and occasional help from those around him, Kogoro must piece together the clues to solve the puzzle before the new year celebrations are ruined.
The special episode presents two short stories. The first is an expanded version of a previously unaired tale, while the second is a brand new segment set during the New Year's holiday. Together, they showcase Kogoro's detective skills and the unexpected twists that come with the festive season.
