Two years ago, idol duo Zwei Wing—Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou—used ancient weapons called symphogears, powered by song, to fight the deadly alien race known as the Noise. During a concert, Kanade sacrificed herself to protect a young Hibiki, leaving a fragment of her symphogear embedded within the girl. Now, when a new Noise attack erupts, Hibiki awakens Kanade's power within her. She must learn to wield the symphogear alongside the grieving Tsubasa to defend humanity.
