Vaundy brings together 10,000 fans in Hong Kong and reunites with the actress from his MV
The Japanese singer sold out his first solo concert at the Asia Arena and performed 22 songs, including endings from SPY x FAMILY and Chainsaw Man.
Vaundy returned to Hong Kong and this time he did it in a big way. The Japanese singer filled the Asia Arena with more than 10,000 people at his first solo concert in the city, after tickets sold out completely.
The show was standing-room only for all attendees. According to on.cc東網, some fans arrived dressed as the artist, complete with his iconic afro, and the venue was filled with 'Vaundys' everywhere.
The setlist included 22 songs. Among them were "Todome no Ichigeki", the ending of SPY x FAMILY, and "CHAINSAW BLOOD", the ending of Chainsaw Man. Two tracks that connect directly with the anime audience and set the mood on fire.
Vaundy also made an effort with the local language. He greeted the crowd in Cantonese with a "Hello everyone, I'm Vaundy, are you having fun?" and, before closing with his classics Kaiju no Hanauta and Odoriko, asked in Japanese: "Are you still alive?".
The most talked-about moment came off stage. The singer reunited with Angela Yuen, the actress who starred in the music video for "tokimeki" three years ago. She shared a photo of the two of them after the concert, and Vaundy reposted it on his stories.
This was Vaundy's second show in Hong Kong in less than a year. In December 2025, he had already taken part in an outdoor festival in Central, but this time he had a concert of his own, as part of his first Asia tour.
The artist confessed that the region's languages are proving difficult for him. Still, the audience responded with an energy that could be felt from the very first song.
A setlist designed for anime fans
It's no coincidence that Vaundy includes endings from SPY x FAMILY and Chainsaw Man. The musician has built a solid bridge with the anime industry, and his songs are already part of the landscape of several recent series.
Hearing "CHAINSAW BLOOD" live, with thousands of people singing along, is one of those moments that stays in any fan's memory.
