Tempal: The Power of Objects Reveals Episode 2 Preview and Its Soundtrack

Tempal: The Power of Objects is gearing up for its second episode. Pony Canyon released the synopsis, preview images, and web preview for 'A Blacksmith's First Step', airing on October 9 at 11:30 PM on Tokyo MX and BS11. If you don't want to wait, Prime Video already has it available before the TV broadcast.

The episode puts Greed in a tight spot. After losing his resurrection at the Temple of Yatan, he's sent to Vailan Village, a zone for advanced players where enemies are around level 100. At level -3 and with no money for the carriage, he can't move. He tries to design a great sword with the power of the Descendant of Fagma, but he lacks materials. Then he tries to sneak into a high-level guild and ends up fleeing from Legas, the rank 1 martial artist.

The way out is in craftsmanship. Greed asks the blacksmith Smith for help, who sees through his intentions of wanting easy money and puts him to work learning the basics of the trade. The premise looks great for those of us who enjoy watching a protagonist grow from scratch, with the touch of roguishness the first episode already showed.

Soundtrack and Blu-ray on the horizon

The music is also coming in full force. The original soundtrack for the series is now available on digital platforms, with 58 tracks composed by Keisuke Fujisawa. The titles range from 'The Power of Objects' to 'I Am a Legendary Blacksmith,' including gems like 'What's Going On with This Game?' or 'Goodbye to the Loser Life.' Perfect for accompanying your grinding hours.

And for those who collect physical media, there's good news. Blu-ray Vol. 1 releases on December 26, 2026 and includes a box illustrated by Team Argo, a special digipak, and a booklet with production materials. On video, it features the special 'The Blacksmith's Path,' the creditless openings and endings, and the previews for episodes 1 through 6. Vol. 2 will arrive on January 6, 2027 with the rest of the season.

Stores are already pushing their own incentives. Amazon is giving away visual art cards, Animate offers a B2 tapestry for the full purchase, and Sofmap is putting together a set with a storage box and acrylic panel. If you're in Japan or using an import service, it's time to compare which one works best for you.

A crafting isekai with a video game flavor

For those who aren't familiar yet, the story starts with SATISFY, a VR game played by 2 billion people. Takumi Nagamine, under the handle Greed, obtains a legendary item and becomes the descendant of Fagma, a mythical blacksmith. The catch is that he wakes up with a negative level and no equipment. From there, he must use item crafting to turn his life around both in and out of the game.

The team behind it inspires confidence. Direction is by Ayako Kawano, series composition by Kenta Inohara, and animation is handled by J.C.STAFF. The cast features Tatsumaru Tachibana as Greed, Asami Seto as Yura, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Fon. The opening 'SATISFY' is performed by Re:name and the ending 'Ray of Emotion' by Douou.

The series premiered on October 2 and airs every Friday. For streaming, Prime Video has been ahead since September 27; the rest of the platforms join on Sundays. There's still no official announcement for Latin America, but with the number of isekai platforms are licensing, it wouldn't be surprising to see it soon with Spanish subtitles.
