Organisation no Teki to Kekkon shitara Mechakucha Amai Manga Gets Anime
The Dengeki Bunko romantic comedy confirms a TV adaptation with a first promotional video and the main staff.
Organisation no Teki to Kekkon shitara Mechakucha Amai is getting an anime. The TV adaptation of the romantic comedy published by Dengeki Bunko was announced this Saturday with a first promotional video and the names of the main staff, according to the publisher.
The announcement comes while the light novel series is still ongoing. The fifth volume will go on sale on November 10, 2026, and the anime is in an early stage of production, with no confirmed release date.
The promotional video uses the original illustrations by Rin Kei, who is responsible for the art of the novels. It features the two protagonists, Roushi Saikawa and Ritsuka Nagira, presented as a married couple.
A domestic comedy between former enemies
The story starts from a simple premise: two users of special abilities who belonged to opposing organizations end up married after their groups are dissolved. Roushi Saikawa, known as Feather Hunter, and Ritsuka Nagira, nicknamed White Mage, go from trying to kill each other to starring in a sickeningly sweet married life.
The husband's main conflict is that, despite being married, he has not yet consummated the marriage. From there, the plot moves between domestic situations and problems stemming from their past in the world of abilities.
The original work is by Arima Toshimichi, with illustrations by Rin Kei. The manga adaptation is by Shime.
Anime staff
Studio EMT Squared is in charge of animation, with Ankichi Koubou as production cooperation. Atsushi Nigorikawa, known for his work on Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE!, is directing.
Series composition is by Keiichirou Oochi, who has worked on Himouto! Umaru-chan and The Quintessential Quintuplets. Character designs are by Hiroki Nakano.
The production committee is listed under the name Mechakucha Amai Seisaku Iinkai.
"……I hate you!" "What a coincidence. So do I."
That is how the official synopsis begins: with an exchange of hatred between the two protagonists that, pages later, turns into a routine of kisses at the door every morning before going to work.
The author, Arima Toshimichi, commented that he conceived the work as a single volume and that the news of the adaptation surprised him. He thanked the support of the readers and the editorial team that has accompanied the series since its launch.
Rin Kei, for her part, celebrated the adaptation and noted that she will be able to see in motion situations of Ritsuka that could not be captured in the novel illustrations.
Celebration campaign
To commemorate the announcement, the production is raffling twenty postcards with an illustration by Rin Kei in a marriage announcement format. The participation period starts on October 4 and ends on October 31 at 11:59 PM, Japan time.
To participate, you must follow the official anime account on X and repost the campaign publication. The account is @soshishuku_pr.
The franchise has four volumes published so far. The fifth, scheduled for November, will arrive shortly after the announcement of this adaptation, which still has no release window.
