OnePlus 16 launches special edition of A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality

OnePlus announced on October 10, 2026 a gift box in collaboration with the animation of A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality. The package takes Han Li's weapon, the green bamboo cloud sword, as its base and turns it into accessories for the OnePlus 16.

The edition includes three pieces: a sword pin shaped like the green bamboo cloud sword, a magnetic case with the same design, and a magnetic sword formation stand. Everything comes on the phone's Tomorrow Star color, which serves as a canvas for this collaboration.

This is not the first time OnePlus has partnered with a major franchise. Marvel Avengers, McLaren, Cyberpunk 2077, and Genshin Impact have all appeared on its phones before. Now it is the turn of the Chinese donghua that has maintained a solid fan base for years.

A collaboration that was already heating up

The brand did not arrive at this edition out of nowhere. During the OnePlus 16 promotion stage, OnePlus used the animated series to showcase the device's battery life. With its 9000 mAh battery, the phone played video for 23.8 hours straight, enough to watch 72 episodes of the adaptation in one sitting.

That figure served to present the device's battery and efficiency package. In addition to the large cell, the OnePlus 16 carries the Glacier battery chip developed by OPPO, which improves energy usage and maintains performance stability when the charge level drops. The company claims the battery retains its durability after five years of use.

What is inside the OnePlus 16

The phone that accompanies this box is not just a pretty accessory. It is the first device to mount the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 Ultimate Edition, with an AnTuTu score exceeding 5.63 million. OnePlus also debuts its three-chip gaming configuration: the P4 for display, the T3 for touch response, and the G3 for networking.

The display is another strong point. Developed together with BOE, the fourth-generation oriental display enables a global refresh rate of 165 Hz in daily use, the first time that level has been brought to everyday scenarios. In games, the panel can go up to 185 Hz.

The gift box turns Han Li's main weapon into everyday objects. It is not a collectible figure or a statue: it is merchandise designed to accompany the phone. The sword pin, the case, and the magnetic stand serve a practical function, although the real appeal lies in the design.

The choice of the green bamboo cloud sword makes sense for those who follow the story. It is the weapon that accompanies Han Li from his first steps as a cultivator, and its presence in this collaboration connects with the character's identity.

The price and availability of this special edition have not yet been revealed. OnePlus only showed the contents of the box and the accessories that make it up.
