KADOKAWA Launches New Panty & Stocking Halloween Lottery with New Illustrations

KADOKAWA announced an online lottery for New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt featuring illustrations drawn specifically for the occasion. The campaign is called "New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" Halloween Kuji and will be available on the Kujibikido service starting October 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM Japan time.

The prizes feature new artwork of Panty, Stocking, Polyester, and Polyurethane. No recycled key visuals from the series here: these are original illustrations made for this lottery, with a Halloween theme. The lineup includes T-shirts, tapestries, acrylic figures, acrylic keychains, and metal badges.

The mechanics are the usual ones on Kujibikido. You buy individual tickets or sets of 10 and 20, and each set comes with a guaranteed bonus. Those who buy the 10-ticket set receive a bromide, and those who go for the 20-ticket set get an acrylic panel with an illustration. Sales close on November 10 at 11:59 AM.

In addition to the lottery, KADOKAWA has prepared a repost campaign on X. If you follow the official Kujibikido account and repost the corresponding post during the sales period, you enter to win a complete set of the Prize B acrylic figures. There will only be three winners.

The Return of a Cult Series

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is one of those anime that aged better than many expected. The original Gainax series, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, came out in 2010 with a visual style that imitated Western cartoons and a very direct sexual humor. The new version, New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, arrives more than fifteen years later with Studio Trigger at the helm.

The fact that KADOKAWA is betting on a lottery with new illustrations, rather than generic merchandise, says a lot about where the franchise stands right now. The anime is back on the radar, and these types of campaigns usually arrive when a season is airing or about to premiere.

The inclusion of Polyester and Polyurethane as the main faces of the prizes also stands out. In the original series they were supporting characters, but here they share the spotlight with Panty and Stocking on equal footing. It's a nod to those who have followed the franchise from the beginning.

The lottery will be available only on Kujibikido, KADOKAWA's online service. No international distribution is mentioned, so you'll need to use a proxy service if you want to participate from outside Japan. The sales period is just under a month.
