Girls und Panzer pop-up shop with China Lolita illustrations opens in Shinjuku on October 23
MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku hosts the event until November 5 with new merchandise, bonus cards, and a raffle for life-size panels.
MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku will host a Girls und Panzer: The Final Chapter pop-up shop from October 23 to November 5, 2026. The hook is five new illustrations featuring the characters in China Lolita-inspired outfits, a style that blends Japanese lolita aesthetics with elements of traditional Chinese fashion. Let me tell you: this franchise's merchandise rarely disappoints, and this time it looks set to be one of those events that empties wallets.
The shop is set up on the second floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex in Tokyo, and admission is free every day. However, if the venue reaches capacity, the organizer will announce it on MEDICOS Entertainment's X account and hand out numbered tickets. It's standard procedure for these events in Japan, but worth keeping in mind if you're in the area.
What's on sale at the shop
The catalog revolves around five characters: Miho Nishizumi, Darjeeling, Arisu Shimada, Orange Pekoe, and Assam. All of them appear in the new illustrations, and several product lines stem from there.
The most eye-catching items are the BIG Acrylic Stands, B2 tapestries, and a life-size tapestry featuring the five main characters. There's also a collection of acrylic dioramas, 56 mm pins, acrylic keychains, and clear cards with ten designs in total. For sealed-box collectors, the acrylic blocks come in blind format with five varieties: buy the full unopened box and you get the complete set. Those who know how this works understand it's the only way to avoid leaving things to chance.
Additionally, there are long-sleeved T-shirts with BOCO designs and limited-edition fleece covers. And a curious detail: during the event, cartridges for OSMO machines will be sold, allowing you to create an original stamp with one of four Boko illustrations. It costs 1,210 yen including tax and must be done in the store itself, using the touch terminals installed for the occasion. Orders for this product will not be accepted after the event.

The bonus system is generous, but it comes with fine print. For every 1,000 yen spent on franchise products, you get a random illustration card from among five designs. And here's what I think is a nice touch: since Miho Nishizumi's birthday (October 23) and Arisu Shimada's (October 24) fall right during the event, there are two store-exclusive cards to celebrate. One is given at random for every 3,000 yen spent.
Heads up: those birthday cards will not be included in the later online sale. If you want them, you'll have to go to Shinjuku or ask someone who's there for a favor.

The shop is also raffling off the five life-size panels that will be displayed at the venue. For every 5,000 yen spent, you get one ticket; for 10,000 yen, you get two. Receipts cannot be combined, so adding up small purchases from different days doesn't work. The entry period ends on November 5 at 11:59 PM, and winners will be announced when the prizes are shipped.
A notice I appreciate them putting in writing: since these are display panels, they may have scratches, dents, or stains. No complaints afterward. And participation is limited to residents of Japan, which is common for these campaigns.

If you can't make it to Tokyo, MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP will open orders on November 6 at noon and keep them open until November 24. It's a preorder sale, so there's no unit limit and it doesn't work on a first-come, first-served basis: if you order within the window, your items are secured. The bonus illustration cards for every 1,000 yen spent are included in online purchases, but the birthday cards are not.
Random products in the online shop are only sold in full boxes, with all varieties included. For me, that's the best news in this whole piece: no more buying five keychains and ending up with three duplicates.
The Girls und Panzer franchise keeps moving merchandise with a consistency other series with more recent seasons would envy. Das Finale is on its fourth installment and the commercial machine doesn't stop. These pop-ups with new themed illustrations are the norm in Japan, and the China Lolita approach gives it a different vibe from the typical military uniform or casual wear designs.
Does this product line catch your eye, or are you already burned out on so many events? If you'll be in Tokyo during those dates, tell me in the comments what you plan to buy.
