Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree releases chapter 91 with Haïta and an unexpected encounter

On October 4, 2026, chapter 91 of Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree arrived on the digital magazine COMIC Hu. Nikiichi Tobita's series keeps its biweekly pace and now plunges us straight into the Lake of Rot, one of the most oppressive areas of the original game.

Tsubu keeps moving forward with Haïta through the depths. The girl searching for Shabriri grapes navigates an underground labyrinth without hesitating for a second, and our protagonist doesn't like that one bit. Something smells fishy, and it's not exactly the stale air of the underground.

Reunion at the bottom of the Lake of Rot

The chapter preview confirms that the pair reaches the bottom of the area and runs into a character who has appeared before. They don't say who, but anyone who has played Elden Ring can imagine where this is heading. The manga already introduced the Dung Eater a few chapters ago, so expect tension—albeit in gag form.

The charm of this adaptation is exactly that: taking FromSoftware's cryptic lore and giving it an absurd twist. Tsubu isn't the imposing Tarnished we all created in the game. He's a poor devil with no memories who stumbles from boss to boss, and every serious encounter turns into a joke.

The chapter was released with simulpub in multiple languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Korean, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Portuguese. Also in Spanish, with two separate editions: Norma Editorial for Spain and Panini México for Latin America. We get Panini's version, so keep an eye on release times, as they sometimes lag a bit depending on the language.

Volume 12 is now on sale

While we follow the story as it unfolds, volume 12 of the manga is still available. That volume covers the final stretch of Tsubu's journey from the royal capital to the gates of the Erdtree. If you prefer reading in print, now is the perfect time to catch up before the plot really blows up.

The manga updates on the 4th and 19th of each month on COMIC Hu. Chapter 91 is already available for free on Kadokawa's website and Nico Nico Manga. Just remember to read it on the official platform for your region.
