Detective Conan Anime 30th Anniversary Exhibition Comes to Nagoya in December
The exhibition will run from December 12, 2026 to January 11, 2027 at the Kanayama South Building Museum, featuring an original voice audio guide and a free acrylic stand.
The Detective Conan anime turns 30 and is celebrating with a special exhibition in Nagoya. The show will open its doors from December 12, 2026 to January 11, 2027 at the Kanayama South Building Museum, as announced by the organizers.
Tickets are already on sale at Ticket Pia since October 3 at 10:00. There are two types: general admission and one that includes a gift, an acrylic stand featuring Conan and 30 characters from the franchise. This acrylic stand does not include the Conan figure, but it can be used to display other acrylic stands or plushies.

Base prices are 2,200 yen for adults and 1,500 for elementary, junior high, and high school students. Preschool children enter free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult over 18.
Conan, Kid, and Amuro Voices in the Audio Guide
One of the main attractions is the audio guide featuring the voices of the characters. During the tour, visitors can listen to Conan Edogawa, Kaito Kid, Toru Amuro, Shuichi Akai, and Ai Haibara. It costs 700 yen and can only be purchased on the same day, at the venue entrance. It is not sold at the ticket booth or once inside.

The organizers warn that the content may change without prior notice. It's a detail that makes a difference if you've already been to other anime exhibitions: here the experience feels closer to the series.
Dates, Hours, and Venue Rules
The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 18:30, with last entry at 18:00. It will be closed on December 31 and January 1, so be careful if you plan to go around New Year's.
Weekday tickets are not valid on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, and they cannot be exchanged for weekend tickets. Weekend and holiday tickets have a set date and time, although there is no time-slot system: you just need to enter during the time printed on the ticket.
There is no re-entry. If you buy merchandise, you have to show your ticket and cannot re-enter after leaving. In case of large crowds, access restrictions may be applied. The organizers recommend checking the official website and X account before going.
For those coming from Latin America, the exhibition does not offer explanations in other languages. However, the space is wheelchair accessible. There are no group, senior, or disability discounts.
The exhibition is organized by Chukyo TV and Chukyo TV Creation, with 7-Eleven Japan as a sponsor. It's a rare opportunity to see anime material outside of Tokyo, and Nagoya is becoming an increasingly common spot for this type of event.
Would you go to the exhibition if you're in Japan on those dates? Tell us in the comments which character you'd like to hear in the audio guide.
