Sanpei is a serious and abrupt man, far too rigid for his own good. His coworker Tani is the complete opposite: outgoing, flashy, and a bit airheaded. Despite their differences, Sanpei has harbored feelings for Tani for a long time, though he keeps them buried under his stern exterior.

When Tani is forced to quit his job and take over the family business, he makes a bold decision: he wants to take Sanpei back with him as his wife. Sanpei is caught off guard by the proposal, torn between his long-held affection and his fear of vulnerability. As Tani pushes forward with his plan, Sanpei must decide whether to open his heart or let his stubbornness drive Tani away for good.
