A single man finds comfort in the rigid routine of his everyday life, his only companion a beloved teddy bear he treats with great care. His quiet, controlled world is disrupted when a persistent and overly cheerful young neighbor appears at his doorstep, refusing to leave him alone.
As the neighbor's presence forces its way into his carefully ordered existence, the man's composure shatters into hurtful words and panic. After the neighbor disappears, the silence that follows only highlights the cracks of festering loneliness left behind. He realizes that only one person can fill those voids, but that person is gone.
