Asaji Kouyo's life changes when his father remarries, bringing a new stepbrother, Makoto, into the family. Asaji is puzzled by Makoto's cold and distant behavior toward him. As he tries to understand why, he uncovers a truth that could alter the fragile bond between them forever. With their parents away on vacation, the two are left alone, and the tension between them grows, forcing them to confront their feelings and the secrets that lie beneath the surface.

In a separate tale, high school students Toyota Ashashi and Akiyama Shigetomo meet by chance at a convenience store. Though they are classmates, their connection deepens into a genuine friendship. But Akiyama soon realizes his feelings for Toyota go beyond friendship. When Toyota discovers that Akiyama likes him, he faces a difficult choice: accept those feelings and risk changing their relationship, or reject them and possibly lose a friend. Both stories explore the complexities of love, family, and the courage it takes to be honest with oneself and others.
