Yoshio is an ordinary shut-in who suddenly inherits an entire apartment complex from his uncle. As the new landlord, he expects his tenants to pay their rent on time, but some of them fall behind on their payments.
When Yoshio threatens to evict the delinquent tenants, they offer an alternative way to settle their debts. They will do anything to avoid being kicked out, and their proposition pushes the boundaries of what Yoshio ever expected from his new role as a landlord.
