Nanami Satou is a young woman struggling with financial hardship. When her mother falls ill, the burden of medical expenses pushes her to her limits. In a moment of desperation, she shoplifts from a convenience store, an act that sets off a chain of events she never anticipated.

Caught by a store employee, Nanami is given a choice: face the police or accept a different form of payment.
