Fumio Shijou's life is turned upside down when her mother dies. Having grown up in poverty, she discovers that her estranged father is actually a wealthy man. Her older brother, who was raised by the grandmother that cast out their pregnant mother, now wants Fumio to become part of his life.
Transferring to St. Michael's Academy, Fumio quickly stands out due to her excellent grades, athletic prowess, and grounded personality.
