Utsushimi no Hana
うつしみの花
During the Asuka period, Tasuna is sold by his stepfather to a local noble and suffers sexual abuse. Desperate and with nothing left to lose, he flees deep into the mountains, searching for Azeri, a master metal engraver and his late father's former apprentice. Exhausted and on the verge of collapse, Tasuna is found and rescued by a strange, seemingly unfeeling man.
Tasuna soon realizes that this man is Azeri, the very person he has been seeking. With no other options, he begs Azeri to take him on as an apprentice, hoping to learn the craft his father once practiced. But Azeri's cold demeanor and the harsh realities of the era present new challenges, forcing Tasuna to confront his past while navigating an uncertain future in a world that has already taken so much from him.
