Ushiro no Shoumen Darling

A collection of six standalone stories explores chance encounters and unexpected connections. In one, Jundai inherits a very special guitar with a ghostly presence. Another follows Heita as he tries to unmask his mysterious phone sex partner. A third story introduces Noguchi, an otaku who wakes up to find a snake in his bed, belonging to his animal-loving neighbor Takatsu.

Meanwhile, the ugly Labrador Pero is pawned off to the reluctant Eigo by the persistent Katsura. A truck driver agrees to pick up a high school hitchhiker, only to discover the passenger is armed with a knife. Each tale delves into the strange and intimate moments that arise when people's paths cross, followed by short extras that revisit the characters years, months, or days after their original stories.
