In feudal Japan, a wandering samurai named Chigiri encounters a mysterious woman who draws him into a tale of love and loss. Meanwhile, a poor farmer named Katsushiro finds his life intertwined with a ghostly presence from his past, leading to a haunting reunion.
Across these four interconnected stories, characters face the consequences of their desires and the thin boundary between the living and the dead. From a priest tempted by a demonic monk to a wife seeking revenge through a cursed kettle, each narrative explores themes of obsession, betrayal, and the supernatural.
