つらつらわらじ ～備前熊田家参勤絵巻～
To control his daimyo lords, the shogun orders them to move back and forth from their provincial home and the capital, where they must spend half their time. The story follows the long journeys of the daimyo Kumada's family between the family's Okayama home in southwestern Japan and their second home in the capital.
The Kumada family faces the challenges of these arduous trips, dealing with the logistics of travel, the dangers of the road, and the political tensions that arise from the shogun's decree. As they navigate the complex web of obligations and alliances, they must also confront personal conflicts and the weight of their responsibilities.
