A collection of eleven short stories by Kazuichi Hanawa, originally published between 1971 and 1980 in magazines such as Garo and Young Comic. The tales range from grotesque and erotic to surreal and psychological, exploring the darker aspects of human nature and society.
Each story presents a different scenario: a woman with a skull-like breast, a pig-faced woman, a child sworn to God, a sheltered girl, and a series of interconnected stories about karma. Others feature a house of flesh, a fighting woman, a freak show, and the titular "Light of the Moon." The narratives often delve into themes of obsession, violence, and the macabre, reflecting the author's unique and unsettling vision.
