During the Taishō era, a young man leaves the imperial city carrying a large trunk, following his father's instructions to travel to a provincial town and help with an autumn festival. As he walks through the unfamiliar streets, a wave of nostalgia washes over him, and he soon encounters two girls who will change his life.
As the days drift by, the young man finds himself drawn to one of the girls, and their connection deepens into something more than a simple acquaintance. Their bond feels inevitable, as if fate itself orchestrated their meeting.
