In 1992, a young Japanese woman named Yuki travels to Nagasaki to work as a maid in a Chinese mansion known as the Toujin Yashiki. She is drawn into the mysterious and isolated world of the Chinese community living there, where she encounters strange customs and hidden secrets. As she navigates her new life, Yuki becomes entangled in a web of cultural clashes and supernatural occurrences that challenge her understanding of reality.
The mansion holds dark histories and unexplained phenomena, forcing Yuki to confront both the living and the dead. With each passing day, she uncovers more about the tragic past of the residents and the eerie forces that bind them to the house.
