The Guardian

In a world torn apart by war, a guardian is determined to protect his young charge from its horrors. To do so, he provides a distraction, but it is one that is perverse in nature, blurring the lines between protection and corruption.

As the guardian's methods become increasingly questionable, the nature of his relationship with the child is tested. The story explores the dark lengths one will go to in order to shield innocence, and the unsettling consequences that follow.
