In a world where androids are indistinguishable from humans, a lonely man purchases a lifelike doll named Sun. She is designed to fulfill his every desire, but her artificial nature leaves him feeling empty. As he interacts with her, he begins to question the boundaries between human emotion and programmed responses.

Their relationship takes an unexpected turn when Sun starts to display behaviors that go beyond her programming.
