Shinsengumi Jingishou Asagi
新選組刃義抄アサギ
In 1800s Japan, after the arrival of the black ships, a group of young rōnin answer a call to Kyoto to protect the shogunate. They join the Shinsengumi, a special police force tasked with maintaining order in the turbulent final days of the Edo period.
As the Meiji Restoration looms, the rōnin find themselves caught in a web of political intrigue and conflicting loyalties. Their role in the changing world proves far more complicated than they first imagined, forcing them to confront the true cost of their duty.
