Longing for the Ephemeral World

An injured American soldier is stranded alone in the middle of a dense jungle, wounded and far from any sign of civilization. His survival hangs by a thread as he struggles to move through the thick vegetation, when he unexpectedly encounters a naked woman in the same remote wilderness. Their meeting is sudden and unexplained, leaving both of them isolated in a place where the rules of the outside world no longer seem to apply.

The soldier and the woman are forced to rely on each other as they navigate the harsh and untamed jungle. With no clear path to safety and no explanation for how they came to be there, their presence together raises profound questions about survival, human connection, and the strange circumstances that bind them. As they face the elements and their own vulnerabilities, the line between reality and something more ephemeral begins to blur in this haunting one-shot manga.
