Shachiku Otoko to Yarite no Onna

After a work party, Kiyoko witnesses a man about to cross the street without noticing a red light. She quickly pulls him back, nearly getting hit by a car herself. The man, Sasaki, apologizes profusely with an extraordinary look on his face. Kiyoko calms him down and listens to his story: he has been working like a horse at a black company, enduring endless overtime and unreasonable demands. She urges him to consult a lawyer and quit, but Sasaki refuses, insisting it is his own fault for not being good at his job. He keeps muttering excuses, blaming himself for his situation.

Kiyoko loses patience with Sasaki's self-blame. "You're thinking too much, Sasaki! What you need right now is to clear your mind!" she declares. Without waiting for his response, she forces him into a nearby hotel, determined to help him forget his troubles in a more direct and physical way. What starts as a chance encounter quickly turns into an intense night that changes both their perspectives on work and life.
