In a world where all monsters have been defeated, there is no work left for heroes. Gotou and Akihara, former partners in a hero duo, have disbanded and are now contemplating their futures. However, their plans are interrupted when they are attacked by former heroes who once fought alongside them.
Facing a threat from those they once called allies, the two must confront the consequences of a world at peace. As they struggle to find their place, they are forced to question what it truly means to be a hero when there is no one left to fight.
