Tsutsumu Shisui is raised by his grandfather, Dr. Yuujirou, after the death of his father, Dr. Hiromu. When Yuujirou passes away, Tsutsumu is left alone and burdened by his grandfather's debts.
At the funeral, Tsutsumu's cousin, Sou Takigawa, suddenly appears and declares his intention to take care of Tsutsumu. As Tsutsumu tries to navigate this new arrangement, he begins to uncover secrets about his family's past and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his father's death.
