Ha Min has dreamed since childhood of becoming a conductor on the Galaxy Railway 999. When he finally achieves his goal, he is assigned to Pidgeon-ho, a slow local train that travels through a rural backwater. There, he learns to appreciate the unhurried pace and the passengers' quiet hopes.
However, the slow train's service is unexpectedly coming to an end, forcing Ha Min to transfer to a faster train in the city. His new colleagues have peculiar personalities, including a horror-obsessed conductor and a food fanatic. As Ha Min adjusts to the bustling railroad, he realizes that some things from the old train are worth missing, but he also discovers that his dream may be closer than he thinks.
