Pokemon wo Tsukutta Otoko: Tajiri Satoshi

ポケモンをつくった男 田尻智

Satoshi Tajiri grew up in a small town in Japan, where his fascination with insects and collecting creatures sparked a lifelong passion. As a child, he spent hours exploring nature, capturing and cataloging bugs, a hobby that would later inspire his greatest creation. Despite struggling in school, Tajiri's love for video games and arcades led him to pursue a career in game design, eventually founding Game Freak with a group of like-minded friends.

In the 1990s, Tajiri combined his childhood experiences with his technical skills to develop a game that allowed players to capture, trade, and battle creatures. The result was Pokémon Red and Green, released in 1996, which became a global phenomenon spanning video games, anime, movies, and trading cards. This manga explores Tajiri's journey from his early days to the creation of the Pokémon universe, highlighting the challenges and support he received along the way.
