Nihon Rettou Ichiman-nen

In 1979, Suzue Miuchi released a collection of four short manga stories set across different times and places. The first, "Nihon Rettou Ichiman Nen," follows a young boy named Taro who travels through Japan's history, from ancient times to the future, guided by a mysterious girl. The second story, "Giniro no Duet," centers on a pair of twins, one of whom is a gifted pianist, as they navigate their bond and ambitions. The third, "Elizabeth no Taiyou," tells of a girl named Elizabeth who dreams of becoming a singer in a foreign land. The final tale, "Mizuiro no Marie," features a young woman named Marie who discovers a hidden talent for painting. Each story explores themes of self-discovery, passion, and the passage of time.
