Nekogoze (Cat Blind Woman)

In an alternate post-war Japan, the country has been occupied and integrated into the Soviet Union, and its population consists of catfolk. A blind female musician known as a goze travels the land, making a living through street performances. She is accompanied by her guide, a skilled swordsman named Youme, and a Buddhist monk named Uguisu.

The trio takes on dangerous jobs that require their considerable fighting expertise. They clash swords with criminals, Cheka enforcers, and orthodox religious sects while searching for clues about the whereabouts of Uguisu's missing brother and the mysterious two-tailed Cheka operative.
